Learn to edit like a professional in five hands-on sessions. You will grasp how Adobe Premiere works and gain insight into industry editing styles. The course looks at the various styles of editing and provides an understanding of the fundamentals of constructing an edit.

Learn the technical and emotional elements involved in crafting a story. You’ll explore and analyse examples to understand the structures, visual narrative and technical elements that make up professional-quality video content.Understand Adobe Premiere, the industry standard and a powerful production tool, to an advanced level.

Different examples of video footage and course materials will be provided to help strengthen your learning.

Hard drives  Computer  basics and Setting up premiere projects.   

Session Two / Get Organised

Organisation of your project, Bins Sequences syncing  and more to prepare your footage for editing. 

Session Three / How to Edit

Telling a story with, keyboard editing understanding tools for the complete understanding of editing on the timeline. 

Session Four / Finishing the edit

Mastering audio, grading and exporting to Adobe encoder

Session Five / Open Session

Bring your own personal projects for advice and follow up.

This workshop is suitable for anyone with basic Mac skills who wants to learn how to edit professional-quality video with Adobe Premiere. For this course you will need to bring along your own MacBook computer with latest Adobe Premiere installed. If you don't have Adobe Premiere you can download a free trial copy from Adobe.com. If you require a computer for sessions please notify us before sessions commence.  *For a refund this must be requested at the end of the first session.
